So here's what I had for my first dinner of 2009. My mom's scalloped potatoes are the best on earth. This is a proven fact. Amount of deliciousness is definitely equal to amount of thick cream used in preparation. Anyway, I know you can't taste them by looking at a picture but ... it's truth, trust me. Also, yes that is one of Red Lobster's cheese biscuits. We brought some home on New Year's Eve and re-baked them the next day. I think they tasted better that way, a lot crispier ...

Oh my gosh those scalloped potatoes are totally making me drool >< Ahh! It's so nice to be able to go back home to a warm home-cooked meal... Mothers are the best. (though mine can't cook at all!)
