Finally working on art again. I'm still a bit rusty, so nothing's perfect - it's been over a year since I've really worked hard - but I'm feeling so good, finally feel like myself again. What was the last thing you did that really made you feel like "you"?

Dancing like a loon in my room. But really performing on a stage is really where I need to be.
I love your painting! I have been meaning to get back into drawing and such. I've let life get in the way...=(
I have been feeling the exact same way-- I think drawing is the one activity I have associated with the 'real me', the thing I did before I could walk-- so when I don't draw, I feel like part of me is lost.
I really like her face! You have a way with watercolors.
Oh I love this! You're talented.
I love making things, whether they're tacky christmas wreaths or silly valentines...anything I do with my hands and a glue gun pretty much haha.
I love this! I really like the unfinished quality of her dress, it's very appealing to me.
art is also what makes me feel like me. making art makes me feel beautiful.
you're amazing at watercolour. last thing i did that made me feel like me is getting my hands down and dirty working with ink:)
That's really great - I love watercolor, especially your muted color palette.
Drawing my little illustrations makes me feel like me.
Similar to you - I started painting again in preparation for starting my final year of school. It's amazing, it makes you feel untouchable. Your paintings are really nice, especially the tonal bits around the nose and eyes and cheeks. keep going!
I just discovered your blog and really love it!
I love your drawings, too, you're really talented!

drawing elves and warriors from a distant world makes me feel like me. i love fantasy :)
today was the first time, when i actually applied some makeup again. sad, but true. the past week i've been cramming all day long, so i really didn't have to give a damn about my appearance.
